Important Points to Consider Before Booking Your Session for Your Little One

Choosing a newborn photographer can be a lot of work. Especially when considering all of the factors that make a good choice. The safety of your newborn is by far the most important factor when considering your  newborn photographer. Not only are the integrity of the images and your memories at stake, but most importantly, you should choose someone who knows how to handle, care for, and pose your baby safely.

We have photographed newborn babies from 11 years and its been a totally different experience back then and now where we used to spend 4-6 hours in a session and now we take 1-2.5hours for a complete session everything comes with experience. Every professional newborn photographer gets better with every little client we handle.

Style

There are so many different styles of newborn photography, and none is right or wrong. It is important to note what style you are drawn to and find a photographer that does it well. You could love the posed newborn style, lifestyle sessions, or even baby led posing.

During a posed newborn session, your sleeping baby is gently guided into adorable curled up poses, snugly wrapped, and placed in cute props. This type of session takes a high level of experience from the photographer and generally lasts 2 to 3 hours.

With lifestyle sessions, the primary focus is on the connections and love that family members share with their new little ones. Lifestyle photography can take place in your home or at a studio that has a lifestyle area

It is also important to decide if you want a photographer that focus on simple sessions or super styled sessions. The beautiful thing about simple sessions is that it allows for your baby and family to take center stage. Creating images that celebrate miracles is our passion and we focus on creating beautiful memories .

 

We personally love simple sessions when we only concentrate on my subject with less props and where we don’t dominate our little tiny clients with loud colors or props.

Timing

One thing that is often asked when scheduling newborn portraits is, when is the best time to photography my baby. Since your little one grows so fast, it is important to capture them early.
Within the first few weeks of life, your new baby is squishy, bendy, tiny and extra sleepy. It is the perfect time to have a portrait session. We typically recommend 05 to 16 days old for portrait sessions. For babies that are born early and spend time in the hospital, we recommend the first seven days of them being sent home. We don’t typically recommend babies younger than five days old since they are still working on adapting to their new word and learning to feed. We can work with babies up to 8 weeks old for newborn portraits. It is important to factor in the style of portraits that you would like for your session though. If you are looking for a posted newborn session, 05 to 16 days is best.

Payment Terms and Conditions for Photography Website

1. Payment Methods: a. The photography website accepts payment via multiple methods, including credit/debit cards, online payment platforms (such as CARD or UPI), and bank transfers. b. Cash payments are not accepted for online transactions.

2. Pricing: a. The prices displayed on the website are in the local currency and are inclusive of any applicable taxes or fees.  b. The photography services may have different pricing options, such as hourly rates, package rates, or customized quotes depending on the client's requirements.

3. Payment Schedule: a For standard photography services, the full payment is required at the time of booking or before the scheduled shoot. b. For larger projects or customized services, a deposit or partial payment may be required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the project.

4. Refunds and Cancellations: a. In the event of a cancellation by the client, any payments made will be subject to the following refund policy:
   i. Cancellations made [5 number of days] or more before the scheduled shoot/project will receive a full refund.
   ii. Cancellations made within [10 number of days] of the scheduled shoot/project may be subject to a partial refund or forfeiture of the deposit.
   iii. Cancellations made within [15 number of days] or less of the scheduled shoot/project may not be eligible for a refund.
   b. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within [ 15 number of days] from the date of cancellation.

5. Late Payments: a. If a client fails to make the payment on time, a reminder may be sent, notifying them of the outstanding payment. b. In the case of late payments, the photography website reserves the right to charge late payment fees or interest as specified by local laws or stated in the agreement.

6. Intellectual Property: a. The ownership and copyright of the photographs captured by the photographer remain with the photographer, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. b. The client is granted a non-exclusive, limited license to use the photographs for personal or non-commercial purposes, unless otherwise specified in the agreement.

7. Dispute Resolution: a. In the event of any disputes or disagreements, both parties agree to engage in good faith negotiations to reach a resolution. b. If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, either party may choose to pursue legal remedies as outlined by local laws and regulations.

8. Amendments: a. The photography website reserves the right to modify these payment terms and conditions at any time. b. Any changes made to the payment terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
